monochromatic
what i chose to do for this project was to take a picture of a decoration that i had. it was mainly orange, so i thought it would work well with the monochromatic picture. i like how this turned out, even though everything isnt all orange.

Two picture, same person
I chose to take the picture of my mom. I had her pose for the on on the right. And then i told her to act natural for the picture on the left. I like how these pictures turned out because they are of the same person, yet they look a lot different.

Light and Shadow pictures
The picture on the left is my light picture. I saw a leaf on the ground with one single hole in it. So i picked it up and held it up to the sun. I made sure that the sun was aligned just right with the hole of the leaf. The other picture is my shadow one. I chose to also do a leaf picture. But this time i saw it on the sidewalk and i made sure to face away from the sun and take the picture. I like how it turned out for you to see the shadow of the leaf.

What I learned in photography class
Being in photography has taught me so much about how to properly take pictures. Throughout the assignments we have had to do a variety of pictures. And i learned that in taking a close up picture of someone that its best to use natural lighting.
My favorite assignment was the forced perspective. I love how that one turned out! Im not sure what i want to learn next quarter, it doesnt really mind what we do, i think everything we did this quarter was interesting.

Close up portrait
I chose Skyla to take this picture because i know she doesnt wear makeup and i wanted a natural look. I love the fact that she looks so natural in this picture, she looks so pretty. I love how i was the one that faced the sun so her face could be darker than the background. I like how the sun is peeking up behind her also.

Black and White
I saw a single red apple surrounded by all grey and dull colors. I immediately took the picture and thought i could edit it to were the only thing in color would be the red apple. i think this picture turned out way better than how i thought it would. Im proud of this black and white photo.
Line and Shape
I set up this picture to make it look more interesting. I saw a leaf on the ground and it looked so untouched and smooth, i decided to put it on this rough brink slate. I liike how you can see all the different lines in the leaf and also all the cracks in the brick behind it.
Advertising
I looked on pintrest to see all the different advertising ideas i could recreate. I chose this one of a magazine promoting senior picture taking. a photographer was adverting this so i chose to recreate this. I like how it turned out, i could quite get it exact but i still think its pretty close.
Close up Nature
I was walking around and i happened across an apple. It was all bitten up and it had dirt and bugs on it. i thought it was a really cool opportunity to take a close up picture to show the imperfectness of nature. I love how you can see the dirt and bug it it and it is so close to the apple.

Informal Portrait
I took a photo of Mason outside and made him look away from the camera. I did this to make it look more natural.
Perspective
I took this photo with the help of Emily and Justin. I made them stand 6 feet apart and stand in line with one another. Then I had Justin jump while Emily had her hands out. And this is how it turned out. I really like how it looks like Justin is so much smaller than Emily, it almost looks like hes a barbie.

Texture
I took this picture by picking up rocks and laying them in my hand. I like how you can see the different textures in this picture. You can see my indentations on my skin, and the sand crystals on the rock. I like how my phone zoomed in and made the back all blurry too.

Sunset
I took this photo when I was four wheeling with my sister one summers night. We went over a hill and I saw how pretty the sky looked so I had to stop and take the picture. I love this picture because it reminds me of The Lion King.
